Dailey, Mrs. Margaret E.

Age 71, passed away September 29, 1974 at the Whitehall Convalescent Home following an extended illness. Born June 20, 1903 in Steubenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Frank and Edna Thomas Roffee. A resident of this area for the past 50 years, she was married to William A. Dailey on Dec. 15, 1922 in Maryland; he preceded her in death in October of 1964. Mrs. Dailey was associated with the Grace Bible Church and was a member of the Friendship Circle of the church. Survivors include: five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Collins, Mrs. Dolores Figg and Mrs. Gloria Wilson, all of Ann Arbor, Mrs. Carol Zahn of Tampa, Fla. and Mrs. Linda Zahn of Ypsilanti; a step-son, William W. Dailey of New Hudson, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Edna Carrico of Shadyside, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Muriel McMurray of Shadyside, Ohio; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 1:30 p.m. from the Fontana Funeral Chapel with Dr. Raymond H. Saxe officiating. Burial will follow in Washtenong Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, envelopes are available at the funeral home where friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
