NEW SIGNALS REPLACE WATCHMAN: Nicholas Murtis of 434 Third St., who has been working as a watchman at the Ann Arbor Railroad's Hoover Ave. crossing for about three years is shown looking at one of the new signals which will warn motorists from now on at that crossing. Flasher warning lights were placed into operation there and at the Hill St. crossing yesterday afternoon for the firs time. Murtis, a veteran of 19 years and 10 months service as a railroad man will be given another assignment with the Ann Arbor Railroad.
