Jail may not be the most pleasant place to be on Thanksgiving but at least a touch of the holiday is reaching the 65 prisoners behind bars at 119 W. Ann St. today. Above, Mrs. Douglas J. Harvey, food supervisor at the jail, watches while a prisoner trusty cuts up chickens for the Thanksgiving meal. Below, Mrs. Harvey serves the meal to two trusties who, like other prisoners, dined on chicken, potatoes, vegetables and cranberry sauce. Each inmate received more than half a chicken for his meal.
