Age 68, passed away early this morning, Saturday, March 19, 1977 at the Huron View Lodge following a long illness. Born November 20, 1908 in Detroit, she was the daughter of Ulysses and Milicent Rowley Perrine. Mrs. Mathiak had been a Detroit resident for many years. On June 18, 1932 she married Richard Mathiak. Mrs. Mathiak was a life-long Redford Baptist Church member. Survivors include: her husband, Richard; two grandchildren; two brothers, Warren Perrine of Whitmore Lake and Merle Perrine of Mexico; several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard, Jr. in 1975. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Muehlig Chapel with Rev. Jim Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Friends may call at the chapel from 2-4 on Sunday.
