"M" SNOWMAN: The first heavy snowfall of the season provided an excellent opportunity for amateur snow sculptors to ply their art. First-prize honors might go to an eight-foot tall Michigan snowman fashioned by Martin Thomas of Long Island, N. Y., John (Bill) Glace and Mike Drake. Thomas poses beside the snowman, which is naturally equipped with a Michigan pennant, in the front yard of the Glace home at 1421 Marian Ave.
