CANDY HOUSE FOR CHRISTMAS: A candy house similar to the one Hansel and Grettel discovered in the fairy tale was the project for the holiday season of the first graders of Miss Mildred Shedd at T. C. Abbot Elementary School. Shown admiring their class's project are (from left) Peter Frost, Lauri Bonnewell, Katherine Troth and John Buzzard. The candy house, complete with candy canes, cookies, wafers, jelly beans and peppermint mints will be given to University Hospital.
