Mrs. Louis Stapish
CHELSEA - Mrs. Cora J. Stapish died Nov. 30 at her home at 564 W. Middle St. in Chelsea. She was 81.
Mrs. Stapish was born Jan. 18, 1877, at Bluffton, Ind., the daughter of Henry and Minerva Fusselman Stofer. On Sept. 14, 1904, she married Louis Stapish in Chelsea. He survives.
The couple moved to their present address from Lyndon township in 1917.
Mrs. Stapish was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the church.
Besides her husband, survivors include a son, Albert of Chelsea; four daughters, Mrs. Mae Boltz of Monroe, Mrs. Josephine Fowler of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Mildred Jarvis and Mrs. Doris Smith, both of Chelsea; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harry and Arthur, both of Chelsea, and a sister, Mrs. Harriet Piatt, also of Chelsea.
Services were held Dec. 3 at St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Lee Laige officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
