Nathan Churchill (left) and Robert Widemon are among those whose services have been volunteered to renovate the one-time horse barn at Burns Park for use by Recreation Department groups. An appropriation of $20,000 by the City Council is augmented by volunteer labor from unions and contractors and by free or reduced-price materials and supplies from merchants. Donations of cash have come from other sources.
