Exchange Club Elects Townsend
Prof. Richard Townsend of the University's College of Engineering will be installed as president of the Ann Arbor Exchange Club at the Ladies’ Night dinner party at 7 o'clock Tuesday night, June 27 at the Lakelands Golf and Outing Club.
He will succeed Prof. Willett Ramsdell of the School of Forestry and Conservation. Prof. Hobart Willard of the chemistry department will be installed as vice-president.
Prof. Ernest Brater of the College of Engineering, Roy Craik of Argus. Inc., Fred Greiner, a local realtor, and Floyd Parks, manager of Jacobson's store, are the new members of the board of control.
Members and their guests will play golf the afternoon of the dinner at the Lakelands course.
