Charlotte always wanted to be a middle schooler. She thought they were the “cool kids”. Then, she wanted to hurry up and be a high schooler, they could drive and they had epic parties. Once she graduated high school, with not one epic party, she wanted to hurry up and graduate college and get a job. Then, she was in a  hurry to marry and have kids. One dreary day, a car accident hospitalized her. As she laid in the hospital bed,  she held her husband’s hand. And realized that as she was dying, she had completely forgotten to live.
