Gift For Farm

GIFT FOR FARM_ Jane Baker, right, general manager of Hudson's Briarwood store views picture of Cobblestone Farm as it will look when totally restored. That Restoration is closer thanks to a $4,000 grant from the J.L. Hudson Co. to move a barn onto the farm property and make it a full historical museum. Hudson's made the grant, a spokesman for the firm said,
because Cobblestone Farm seems to be an important part of the community with a large base of support. Hudson's is encouraging the Cobblestone Farm Association, here represented by co-president Fran Lymen, left, to match the Hudson's grant on a three-to-one basis from other area businesses and foundations.
