It was the year 2042, a few years since the trials had started. Six years ago, as fear of an invasion from North Korea was, increasing, the government started testing on children in an effort to give them special powers. This was done so that if an invasion were to take place, we would be able to defend ourselves. The children who displayed high brain capacity would have the potential to move things with their minds, and others could create objects out of thin air. Some think the invasion will never come, but if it does, we’ll be ready.
