Jerry had seen it, someone being killed right before his eyes. He hadn’t known the person who was killed, but everything was still hitting him so hard. What was he supposed to do? Should he tell the authorities? But then what if the killer found him and killed him next? Maybe he should just stay out of it and mind his own business. This went on a full year before he was brought in by the authorities. They knew that he was at the scene, questioning him thoroughly. After a long while of being questioned, he was arrested. Jerry was put on trial, the judge ruling a life sentence, no parole, and a possible death sentence. What had he done wrong? Jerry thought that person deserved to die and why not give people what they deserved?
