Zwerdling Brothers Plan To Open Law Offices In Detroit

A. L. Zwerdllng, son of Mr. and Mrs. Osias Zwerdling, of 1056 Baldwin Ave., today announced his resignation as associate general counsel for the UAW-CIO.

Zwerdling and his brother, Morris Zwerdling, a former assistant United States Attorney, will open law offices in Detroit under the firm name of Zwerdling and Zwerdling.

A. L. Zwerdling was associated with the UAW as a technical assistant to Walter Reuther and later associate general counsel.

Before that he was on the staff of the National War Labor Board and the Michigan Unemployment Compensation Commission.

He is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar, the labor relations law committee of the Michigan Bar Association, and the labor-management committee of the Detroit Bar Association.

Quits Union Post

A. L. Zwerdling announced his resignation today as associate general counsel for the international union, UAW-CIO. Zwerdling, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Osias Zwerdling, of 1056 Baldwin Ave., will open law offices in Detroit with his brother, Morris Zwerdling.
