Girl Scouts Use Newly-Acquired Campsite - Preparing a one-pot stew for luncheon on their own private property is the privilege being enjoyed by the above Girl Scout members who are cooking-out on their campsite. The property, located on Huron River Dr., was officially deeded over to the Girl Scouts this week and was given to them by Cone W. Lighthall, who purchased it from the Edison Illuminating Co. The Scouts have had use of the property for the past year, but now can call it their own. The above cook-out is part of the Brownie Scout Day Camp activities being conducted this week.
