"Treppy," the living (although unwilling) symbol of the University's athletic teams, is dead.
The captive wolverine which for 14 years occupied a cage in the zoo behind the Museums Building was found dead in quarters yesterday by Keeper Herndon Dowling.
Although his full name was "Intrepidas," he won the nickname "Treppy" because his shy, retiring nature belied the pugnacious spirit of the original appellation.
