Age 67, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 4, 1976, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital following a brief illness. He was born May 20, 1909 in Detroit, the son of Theophil and Anna Stanger. An Ann Arbor resident most of his life, Mr. Stanger married Jean K. Walsh April 5, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Mich. He was Chief Photographer for the Ann Arbor News where he had been employed for over 40 years before retiring in 1974.
