Modern Japan is a wonderful blend of the ancient and modern, offering more than a glimpse of it’s age-old traditions.

Join local photographer Ann O’Hagan for a visual journey through the highlights of Honshu, Japan’s main island. Through her camera lens, you’ll see Japan’s breathtaking scenery overlaying its rich culture. The itinerary will include Japanese cityscapes, beautiful gardens, and exotic temples from Tokyo to Kyoto including Kanazawa and Hakone, Ann Arbor’s sister city.

Ann O'Hagan is a southeast Michigan native. After thirty-five years of teaching high school, she is now directing her energies to national and world travel and the pursuit of creative photography. Ann uses photography as a means of preserving and sharing her emotional response to the visual delights of new surroundings. Travel and her love of the outdoors are the two major themes of her work.
