Inventor Designs Pumper-Type Merry-Go-Round
YPSILANTI - Production has started on a new type of playground device called a Pump-O-Matic merry-go-round.
Designed by C. H. Williams of Ypsilanti, it is being constructed by the Wood-Williams-Copp Manufacturing Co. at 5239 W. Michigan Ave. three miles west of Ypsilanti.
A public preview demonstration was held this week at the Park Ridge Community Center on Harriet St. here. It has been shown at the Milan Fair, and one area school has put it into use.
