State Police of the Ypsilanti post Saturday smashed this still, used to make illegal "moonshine" whisky, and arrested a Detroit man found operating the equipment. The still was found in a densely wooded section of Wayne county's Sumpter Township, southeast of Willis, by (left to right) Sumpter Constable Terry Williams and Troopers William H. Lanphear and Carl W. Hulander. Sixteen barrels and the 250-gallon steel drum (center) used to make the moonshine were destroyed by the officers.
