Description

Join AADL and the University of Michigan Museum of Art for an exciting exploration of sustainable design during UMMA Nights at the Museum! From 7 to 8:00 pm, AADL will host a collaborative design challenge outside of UMMA's Frankel Family Wing.

Families or groups of friends will be provided with a brown bag that contains art materials from the Ann Arbor Scrap Box. Together you’ll be prompted to explore five principles of design by constructing art from reclaimed objects. You don’t have to manufacture something to design something!

This is a free drop-in art-making event and all are welcome.

Stick around for the family-friendly movie night showing of WALL-E at 8:00 pm. The film will be projected on UMMA's State Street-side facade, on the west side of the Maxine and Stuart Frankel and the Frankel Family Wing.

This event is a partnership between AADL and the University of Michigan Museum of Art.
