"I know the Lord has this plan for me, " said Doris Mida, 59, the Ypsilanti community activist who became the Michigan Lottery's newest millionaire Saturday when she won the "Winter Windfall" and the guarantee of $1,000 a week for life. Her most immediate charitable plans are to repay the college scholarships her son is receiving and to set up a nursing scholarship "because my mother was a nurse." Mida is active int he First Baptist Church, American Legion Auxillary and does volunteer work at both St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital.
