Lagler, Professor Karl F.
Ann Arbor
Age 72, died Sunday, August 25, 1985 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was born November 15, 1912 in Rochester, New York the son of Leo and Rosalie (Nicolet) Lagler. He was married to Mary Jane Manchester; she preceded him in death in 1975. He then married Auraree T. Thitigasigone; she survives. Dr. Lagler was Professor Emeritus of Fisheries & Zoology at the University of Michigan, retiring in 1983. Survivors in addition to his wife, Auraree include: three children, Karl A. Lagler of Ann Arbor, Susan Nicolet Mossman of Pasadena, California and Mary Lou Lagler of E. Lansing and three grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at his son's home, 2815 Kimberley Road, Tuesday, August 27, 1985, from 3-5 P.M. Memorial tributes may be made to the Karl F. Lagler Trust Fund for Fisheries Research c/o The School of Natural Resources, University of Michigan.
