Liquor Plan Opposed
The Bethany Bible Church, 4220 Packard, has gone on record opposing the elimination of the “dry line" and creation of a “dry island" around the University. The proposal is No. 1 on the April 6 election ballot. Church officials said the proposal if passed would be detrimental to the social and moral life of the area.
