Main St. Merchant States Plans To Re-Locate Store

Mast Shoe Store of 121 S. Main St. will be re-locating in the near future to a new location at 217 S. Main.

Walter E. Mast, owner of the 26-year-old shoe business, today disclosed that lease arrangements had been settled and he intends to begin altering and remodeling his new location in about a month. Mast will be relocating his shoe store in quarters oncers leased to Kessel’s Fashion Shop.

“The move will enable us to at least double our present floor space,” Mast said, commenting on his larger quarters.

Reasons for the move is that the National Bank & Trust Co. intends to expand its present facilities to include the sites on which the former Rabideau-Harris store was located as well as that now being used by Mast.

Mast’s branch shoe store located at 619 E. Liberty will remain in operation, Mast said.
