Description

The Downtown AADL is right smack in the midst of Ann Arbor’s FOUR downtown record shops, so stop by before or after you do your Record Store Day exploring and shopping!

We’ll be celebrating the day with a pop-up record fair in the Downtown Library lobby, with vendors slinging used records and music-related gear. 

At 2pm, we’ll welcome Matt Jones and the River Street Anthology crew for a listening party upstairs — Jones has recorded hundreds of musicians from all over our state, contributing songs to be preserved in the State Archives in Lansing. He’ll give us a glimpse of  and a listen to parts of his ambitious recording project. 

Dig through some crates, take a look at the newest batch of vinyl available for check-out, listen in on the River Street Anthology, and pick up a treasure or two from a plethora of Michigan record vendors!
