Gibb, Nettie E.
Formerly of Dixboro
Age 93, died Thursday, November 14, 1985 at the Whitehall Convalescent Home after an extended illness. She was born May 11, 1892, in Saginaw, the daughter of Charles F. and Emma E. LaPuryre Sautter. Mrs. Gibb had spent most of her life in Dixboro. She was married to Emmett Gibb September 23, 1913; he preceded her in death December 18, 1972. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #122, the White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Daughters of Mokanna. Mrs. Gibb was formerly active in the Dixboro United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Douglas E. Gibb of Ann Arbor; two daughters, Jeanette Baughman of Garden Grove, Calif., Doris McFall of Lakeside, Arizona; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Muriel Schief in 1973. Private graveside services were held today at Washtenong Memorial Park. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of one's choice.
