Making History More Palatable - It's one thin to study about Pilgrims and Indians. But it's quite another to play those early Americans and sample a Thanksgiving feast reminiscent of that first one in colonial days. Pupils at Logan Elementary get a lesson they can really sink their teeth into by sharing a meal they helped make. Above second-grade Pilgrims and first-grade Indians line up for the feast. At left [this photo], Pilgrim Dustin Maciag and Indian Rickey Ballard find history is not all that hard to swallow.
