ARTIST VISITS HERE: Richard Blossom Farley of Philadelphia, Pa., noted painter, is pictured above with a painting he presented recently to Mr. and Mrs. Cyrenius Newcomb of Ridgeway with whom he is not visiting. Farley, who early in his career studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, was awarded a traveling scholarship and studied in Europe under Whistler and at Beaux Arts, Paris. Farley has specialized in portraits and in painting sand, sea, and sky and has won various awards for his work. His mural paintings hang in several institutions, among them the New Jersey State Teachers College and the Philadelphia Art Alliance.
