DEXTER - Mrs. Alice M. Plough Lemen, 38, wife of Alfred Lemen, Gregory Rd., died yesterday morning of a brain hemorrhage suffered after a fall down the basement stairs at her home Saturday night.
Born in Wenatchee, Wash., in 1907, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Plough. She was a graduate of Washington State College and earned a master's degree at the University of Michigan in the business administration school. She was married to Mr. Lemen in 1937 and had lived in Webster township since then.
She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was secretary-treasurer of the University Lithoprinting Co. in Ypsilanti.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, is one brother, Gordon, of Wenatchee.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
