Mrs. Augusta J. Liss YPSILANTI - Mrs. Augusta J. Liss, of 602 E. Michigan Ave., died yesterday afternoon at Beyer Memorial hospital after an illness of two weeks. Born in Germany Aug. 31, 1861, the daughter of Carl and Louise Reiha, she came to Detroit in 1872. On June 24, 1886, she was married to Albert A. Liss, and came to Ypsilanti in 1936, from Willis. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, George H. and Gottlieb E., both of Ypsilanti; one daughter, Mrs. Carl Kilgus, Detroit; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at Emmanuel Lutheran church, with Rev. Harley C. Sipe, officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran cemetery, Mt. Elliot at Farnsworth, Detroit. Friends may call at the Stevens and Bush funeral home until 11 o'clock Wednesday morning. The body will lie in state at the church from Wednesday noon to the time of the services.
