Funeral services were to be held this afternoon for William J. Rideout, 68, of 741 Gott St., who died Saturday at his home following a short illness.
Mr. Rideout was born on Jan. 25, 1890, in Canada, a son of James and Lucinda Hugbanks Rideout.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Powers and Mrs. Hazel Allen, both of Ann Arbor, and three brothers, Theodore of Inkster, Robert of Ann Arbor and Leonard of Chicago.
Funeral services were to be held at the Staffan-Hildinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyman S. Parks officiating. Burial was to be held in Fairview Cemetery.
