Church Becomes Public School

CHURCH BECOMES PUBLIC SCHOOL: Central Elementary School furniture was installed yesterday in the newly completed addition to the First Baptist Church at 1110 W. Cross St. in Ypsilanti. With school officials supplying an interior paint job and the furniture, church officials have made seven rooms in the new addition available for classrooms to house the Central School pupils pending the anticipated Nov. 1 opening of the new school building at N. Adams St. and W. Forest Ave.
