Description

Eurydice is a retelling of the Orpheus myth by Sarah Ruhl that follows Eurydice's descent into an Alice in Wonderland-esque underworld and her reunion with her father. It’s a poetic fantasy about how people find ways to create beauty even when they're trapped in terrible situations.

The goal of the Ann Arbor Pub Reading Series is to bring together the theater community of Ann Arbor in an informal, frills-free environment to hear local actors read aloud from outstanding plays. It’s based on the concept of Irish pub-readings, where friends get together to sip a pint and listen to a well-known or influential play. The AADL Pub Reading Series is a partnership with PencilPoint TheatreWorks.

No cover charge, reading starts at 7:00pm
