No Word Yet<br><br>Department officials said today they have received no word on the whereabouts of Fred Pryor, the Ann Arbor man who reportedly disappeared in East Berlin three weeks ago.<br><br>A department spokesman told The News that U. S. authorities in Berlin are investigating the incident, but that no report yet has been received.<br><br>The spokesman said the State Department first heard about Pryor’s disappearance from a member of his family. The department was told that Pryor, 27, attended a rally in East Berlin on Aug. 25, at which East German Premier Walter Ulbricht spoke.<br><br>Pryor reportedly returned to West Berlin after the rally, then went back to East Berlin and has not been heard from since, the State Department spokesman said.<br><br>Pryor is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Millard H. Pryor of 715 Spring Valley Dr., Barton Hills. He is a faculty member of the Free University in West Berlin, and has been studying East Germany’s economy under a grant from the Ford Foundation.<br><br>His disappearance was announced last Friday by the State Department.<br><br>On Fred Pryor<br><br>WASHINGTON — State
