I don’t know who told you it was a good idea to hide a ring in a cake. Do you think it would be cute for your girlfriend to choke up a hunk of cheap silver and swoon? Cake is for eating, not for digging through and making sure everything is thoroughly chewed just in case anything might be hidden. It if really was a real diamond, it should be in a box.
