Although Al Smith, 95, is the oldest active bowler in the world, he really doesn't need the free ride that he is getting from Kelli Dilloway (left) and Patty Cowhy during the opening ceremonies of the 41st Michigan Women's State Bowling Tournament. Smith proves he is still spry by rolling the first ball of the tournament down the Colonial Lanes alley. He hit the head pin and seven pins went flying. The tourney will continue for 12 more weekends.
