That unper says: "It may become a matter of grave conideration, if the cluirch continúes to opïose a pence, and furnisli the fuel of war, vhether the immense revenues of the Chuich in Mexico shall be left untouched - wbetber they shall be suff-red o remain at the disposal of the enemy, nd to be applied to sustain the war nainsi s - whether jualice nnd poliey do nol qually dictate thnt they should at least e sequestered, during tlie continuancR of the war, as a legitímate means of cuting ofT the enemy's supplies."
