What Is Fifth Avenue Press? An Introduction to AADL's Publishing Imprint

Hello, my name is James Barbatano and I am looking to publish my book ‘The Legend of Mim: a Modern Day Fairytale.’ It’s about a young fairy named Mim who is being threatened by her evil stepmother, so she runs away to the human world in order to escape her stepmother’s evil power. The story was inspired by classic fairytales such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, where the main character has an evil stepmother who has dark magical powers. It also has an important moral at the end involving hoe love and kindness can triumph over evil. I consider it a crossbetween of a picture book and an early chapter book. It took me a long time to edit and rewrite my story, but I consider it to be my own personal masterpiece. My parents like it, my grandmother likes it and some of my friends like it, but I am unsure whether children will like it. How big is the market for children’s literature?
