Description
Join Dayna Walton as she demonstrates eco printing while explaining the basics of natural dyeing and plant ID.
Eco printing is the process of pressing and heating plants on paper. With heat, moisture, and proper mordanting, plants will bleed colored impressions onto the paper. This technique can be combined with traditional printing methods for a layer of controlled, natural color.
Participants will have the opportunity to arrange eco printed postcards of their own!
Eco printed postcards must be boiled after the demonstration and will be available later in the afternoon.
