Join us in learning about an innovative local program in which incarcerated youth and formerly incarcerated adults achieve a sense of purpose through gardening.
Speakers include Emily Griswold, Director of the Chelsea Farmer’s Market, Melvin Parsons, founder of “We the People Growers Association” in Ypsilanti, and Ellen Baron, Vocational Horticulture Instructor at Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility.
This event is in partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ann Arbor.
