Description
This program has been moved from the Lower Level to the 4th Floor of the Downtown Library.
Where The Brave Dare to Tread chronicles the life of Captain C. Robert "Bob" Arvin. A native of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Bob Arvin was an Ypsilanti High School valedictorian, State Champion wrestler, president of his class, and much more. Spurning Ivy League offers, Arvin set his sites on The United States Military Academy at West Point, and had a remarkable four years culminating in being named Brigade Commander of the class of 1965. Captain Arvin was killed in Vietnam in 1967 at the age of 24, but his legacy lived on and grew. This film is a celebration of a great American soldier, husband, son, and friend.
Director Brian Kruger will moderate a discussion following the film.
