Mrs. Ralph Edman
Mrs. Alice K. Edman, 60, wife of Ralph W. Edman of 1713 Abbott Ave. died this morning at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a long illness.
Born Jan. 1, 1898 at Melrose Park, Ill., the daughter of Peter and Jenny Olson, she was married to Mr. Edman in Chicago on March 4, 1926. They lived in Rockford, Ill., until 1936, when they moved to Ann Arbor.
A member of Trinity Lutheran Church and VFW Auxiliary No. 423, Mrs. Edman is survived, in addition to her husband, by a daughter, Mrs. William Steeb and a son, Marshall Edman, both of Ann Arbor. Four grandchildren, William and Nancy Steeb and Thomas and Karen Edman, all of Ann Arbor, also survive.
