Where you find men that know more than you ño, and from whose conversation you can gather informa'.ion, it is alvvayssafe to befoutid. Lord Clarendon attribuied us success and happiness in life to a;sociating whh perrons more learned and virtuousthanhimself. If you wish to be wise and respected - f you desire liappiness and not misery, WO advise you to associaie with the itelligent nntl the good. Strive for moral excellence and strict in tegrity, and you never will be fouud in the sinksof pollution or on the benches of vetailers and gamblers. Once habitúate yourselvcs to a virtuous course ; once secure a love for good society aiv1 nopunishment would bc greater than by accident to be obliged for a halfaday to associate with the low and vulgar.
