They are about to construct at Paris, anotlier of those galeries couverles, or streets protected from the weather by glasi, and the plan isone of magnificence hitherlo undreamed of. lt is to stretch ihe immense length from the Boulevard Si Denis to the Place de Chalelet, and the Iiigliest architectural talent of France lias been smployed in the design. It will soon be of no consequence, in Paris whether it rains or shines - the caprices of the sky being entirely cut off from the public promenades by a sub-sky of glass, and tho walking and slioppingdry in the most wet and foggy, snowy and drizzlv season.
