Description
Writing a novel or a memoir is complicated, and beginning writers tend to make the same mistakes over and over. But recognizing mistakes early in the process can save a writer time and make the writing process more enjoyable. In this workshop, Bethany Neal and Alex Kourvo will provide positive suggestions for correcting common writing mistakes in plot, characterization, setting, and dialogue.
This is part of the monthly Emerging Writers Workshops, which offer support, learning, and advice for local authors. Each month, two weeks after the workshop, there is a meet-up where the instructors will read samples of your work and offer advice and assistance in a casual, supportive atmosphere.
