Description

On October 23, the Institute for the Humanities will shut down Liberty Street near U-M campus and reuse thousands of discarded books, turning them into an illuminated pathway for “Literature vs. Traffic,” a large-scale art installation by Spanish undercover art collective Luzinterruptus. The October 24 post-event discussion brings together special guests, members of the community and project curator Amanda Krugliak to talk about public art, the power of the written word, and the process and outcome of the installation.
