Perry School, receives congratulations from Leonard Stark, president of the Ypsilanti Optimist Club for winning first place honors Thursday night in an oratory contest sponsored by the club. John Fox and Steven Harrison, left, tied for third place, while Bruce Forche, right, won second place. John is a sophomore at St. John's Catholic School and Steven and Bruce are eighth graders at West Junior High School.
