GRANDMA CALLED IT PATCHWORK: And the boys of room 3015 at University High school know just what she meant. The quilt that William Kretzschmar (left) and George Kennard (right) are holding, was made by 19 boys who brought in scraps of wool from their suit coats, slacks and jackets and carefully stitched the patches together to make the bed-size quilt. Now that it's done, the boys are going to donate it to the Red Cross.
