Description
Yoga has been used to develop awareness of body and mind for thousands of years. Today, there are a wide variety of yoga styles to choose from. Join us to explore Hatha yoga, which gently integrates breath with movement and body alignment.
Raina LaGrand, yoga and mindfulness educator, will lead a series of postures for beginners and experienced yoga practitioners alike. Raina's teaching practice incorporates a social justice approach with the goal of creating a space that is inclusive and non-judgmental. Participants should dress comfortably and bring a mat if they have one.
This class is best for participants who can move easily from the floor to standing. If you require a different kind of support, check out Raina's chair yoga class on Sunday, March 31st!
